My name is Dede.  I go to KSPA, but first I went to Valverde Elementary School for six years.  The principal’s name was Mrs. Frangs but she has retired.

    Valverde was first built in 1923 but it was too old and it had to be rebuilt.  All of the remodeling was made because of a huge flood.  Valverde has been standing for about 30 years.  A wall with a bench was built as part of the school.  It had to be replaced not long ago because some kids threw a firework at it and ruined it.   

    I had happy years at Valverde Elementary School.

    This is Valverde and it is my community.
